Privacy Policy

This notice explains how ReviveIQ processes personal information through its website, training administration, customer accounts and instructor portal.

Last updated: 7 August 2026

1. Responsible party

ReviveIQ is the responsible party for personal information processed through this website and its training administration systems. Privacy questions, access requests, objections, corrections or deletion requests can be sent to info@revive-iq.co.za.

2. Personal information we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may process your name, email address, contact number, account credentials, course selections, booking and attendance records, payment status and transaction references, material-delivery address, enquiries and communications.

For instructors, we may also process an ID or passport number, HPCSA number where applicable, course alignments, applications, allocations and professional contact details. Passwords are stored only as one-way cryptographic hashes; administrators cannot retrieve the original password.

Our server may record technical information such as IP address, browser information, security events, login attempts and timestamps needed to operate and protect the service.

3. Why and on what basis we process information

We process information to create and secure accounts, answer enquiries, publish suitable course availability, manage carts and bookings, validate payments, deliver materials, administer attendance and certification, coordinate instructors, prevent fraud, keep required business records and meet legal or accreditation obligations.

Processing is based, as applicable, on performing or preparing to perform an agreement, complying with legal obligations, legitimate operational and security interests, and consent where consent is legally required. We do not use transactional contact details for unrelated direct marketing without an appropriate lawful basis.

4. When information may be shared

Information may be shared only as reasonably necessary with authorised ReviveIQ personnel, assigned instructors, relevant programme or accreditation administrators, website and email hosting providers, delivery providers for hard-copy material, professional advisers, and PayFast for payment processing.

Customer personal information is not displayed on the public calendar. Instructor identity, contact, registration and allocation information is not displayed on the public calendar. We may disclose information where required by law, a regulator, court order, safety obligation or the establishment or defence of legal rights.

If an approved service provider processes information outside South Africa, we will require an appropriate legal basis and safeguards consistent with applicable South African data-protection requirements.

5. Retention and security

We retain records only for as long as reasonably necessary for training administration, certification verification, contractual and dispute purposes, legal and tax recordkeeping, security, or applicable programme requirements. Retention periods differ by record type. Information that is no longer required will be deleted, destroyed or de-identified where reasonably practicable and legally permitted.

Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards include access controls, password hashing, session protection, login throttling, request validation, restricted server directories and payment-notification validation. No internet service can promise absolute security, so please report suspected account misuse immediately.

6. Cookies and payment data

The site uses an essential session cookie to keep logins, carts, security tokens and portal activity working. This cookie is not used for advertising. If optional analytics or marketing technology is introduced later, this notice and any required consent controls must be updated before use.

PayFast handles supported payment methods on its own secure service. ReviveIQ receives transaction and payment-status information needed to reconcile and confirm a booking, but does not receive or store full card or bank-login credentials.

7. Your rights and complaints

Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold your information, request access, correction or deletion, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, and complain about unlawful processing. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request and may retain information where lawfully required.

You may also contact or lodge a complaint with the South African Information Regulator. We encourage you to contact ReviveIQ first so we can investigate and assist.
