1. About ReviveIQ
ReviveIQ provides emergency medicine, resuscitation, first-aid, workplace and community training in South Africa. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean ReviveIQ. Questions about these terms can be sent to info@revive-iq.co.za.
2. Customer and instructor accounts
You must provide accurate, current information, protect your password and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Customer accounts may be used only by the registered customer. Instructor accounts are private, administrator-issued accounts and may be used only by the named instructor.
Instructors are responsible for keeping identity, contact and professional-registration information accurate. Course alignments and teaching allocations remain subject to ReviveIQ verification and approval. Applying to teach does not create an employment relationship or guarantee allocation.
3. Course information, certification and accreditation
Course descriptions, prerequisites, duration, certification and accreditation apply only as stated for the specific programme. Successful registration or attendance does not by itself guarantee a certificate. Learners must satisfy applicable attendance, identity, pre-course, assessment and competency requirements.
American Heart Association course names and marks are trademarks of the American Heart Association. ReviveIQ is independently operated; the American Heart Association does not sponsor, own or manage ReviveIQ. AHA-related training remains subject to applicable programme, Training Center and current provider requirements.
References to the Department of Employment and Labour, Services SETA, QCTO or another body apply only to eligible programmes for which that status is expressly stated. They must not be interpreted as blanket accreditation of every ReviveIQ course.
4. Bookings, prices and payments
Prices are displayed in South African rand and, unless stated otherwise, are per person. A place is not confirmed merely because a course is added to a cart. Confirmation occurs only after successful payment validation and creation of a confirmed booking, or when ReviveIQ confirms another approved arrangement in writing.
Online payments are processed by PayFast. ReviveIQ does not collect or store full payment-card or online-banking credentials. PayFast’s own terms and privacy practices also apply when you use its service.
Availability, venues, instructors and schedules may change for operational, safety or programme reasons. Our Booking & Cancellation Policy forms part of these terms.
5. Course participation
Learners must meet stated prerequisites, complete required preparation, arrive on time, behave respectfully and follow reasonable safety and instructor directions. ReviveIQ may refuse participation where requirements are not met or conduct creates a safety, integrity or learning risk.
Training builds knowledge and skills but does not replace professional judgement, local clinical governance, scope-of-practice rules, workplace procedures or emergency-service activation.
6. Website content and acceptable use
Website content is provided for general course information and booking administration. You may not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security, scrape private data, impersonate another person or use ReviveIQ or third-party marks without permission.
Course material, site design, text and ReviveIQ branding remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Third-party course names, seals and marks belong to their respective owners.
7. Availability and responsibility
We take reasonable steps to keep information and services available and accurate, but temporary interruption, maintenance or technical error may occur. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law.
To the extent permitted by law, ReviveIQ is not responsible for indirect loss arising solely from unauthorised account use, third-party systems, failure to follow course requirements, or reliance on general website information as a substitute for professional advice.
8. Electronic communication, changes and applicable law
You agree that booking, payment, security and course-allocation notices may be sent electronically to the email address on your profile. Automated messages are sent from noreply@revive-iq.co.za; replies and support requests must be sent to info@revive-iq.co.za.
We may update these terms when services or legal requirements change. Material changes will be shown by the updated date. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and disputes remain subject to the jurisdiction of the competent South African courts.
